Education & Experience

Attended Fulda Grade School, graduated from Heritage Hills High School, and attended woodland management course through Purdue University.

Community & Professional Activities

President of the Spencer County Board of Zoning Appeals for past 16 years; serves on the Spencer County Plan Commission and Drainage Advisory Board; past member of the Spencer County Redevelopment Commission; member of St. Boniface Parish, Knights of Columbus, and Sons of the American Legion.

Biography

I am a lifelong resident of Spencer County and live on a farm near New Boston. I am a self-employed agriculture and timber businessman and a partner with my brothers, Gary and Alan, in Waninger Brothers Farms. Together we operate a grain and livestock operation on 1000 acres near Fulda. My past work experience includes employment with Mid-State Consultants as an inspector on burial and placement of telephone cable, and for Sitzman Construction as a heavy equipment operator.

Goals and Accomplishments

I am in favor of improving infrastructure to all communities in the county. When it is said and done, I want to see a project that is workable, affordable, and efficient to the citizens of the community. My priority would be to see that appropriations are disbursed wisely and fairly across Spencer County and that there would be an efficient plan in place before any funds are appropriated.

I am looking forward to working with other county officials for an effective and efficient local government for the benefit of all county citizens and will appreciate your vote on Election Day.
